Mindshare is hosting its fourth annual future-facing Huddle festival on the 13th November. For one day, Mindshare will open its central London office to a host of pioneering people at the frontiers of tech, science, film, music, data, social, mobile, gaming and beyond for a jam-packed agenda of intimate and no-holds-barred discussions about the future of media.

There’s no PowerPoint and no boring panels – just a mix of leading media, cultural and tech players, entrepreneurs, academics and interested amateurs – and hopefully you.

How does it work?

It's all about participation. From planning to the day itself, Huddle is an event curated entirely by its participants.

Mindshare takes a theme – this year it’s ‘Inspire & Invent’ – to interesting and inspirational people across the world. They choose a topic and how they want to run their individual Huddle. The only rule is that the Huddle must be participatory. Anyone can lead or facilitate a Huddle, either on their own or in small groups. The Huddle will start with an intro from the leader about their topic, then everyone in the room will be invited to contribute or discuss. There are round-table Huddles, panel Huddles, workshop Huddles and Huddle Hacks. As long as you’re learning, debating or questioning, it’s a Huddle.

Join the likes of Facebook, Google, Spotify, ITV, Sky, Unilever, Nike, Nestle and many more for a unique day of inspiration and invention by competing for a chance to not only attend but run your very own Huddle. There are six Huddle slots up for grabs – all you have to do is submit a short proposal for your idea and the best responses will be chosen by Mindshare. If you are selected, you will be given help to develop your Huddle into a 45 minute session that will help you stand out in front of some of the most influential people working across the media and communications landscape.
