Nicolas Schwabach, is London born with over 25 years agency experience in England, Saudi Arabia and Germany working on international brands as well as for small businesses. He is often asked to help agencies win pitches and to help them win new clients. He is the author of “The Secret Door Opening Guide” and his work has appeared in the Royal Mail’s and the Australia’s Post publications on how to design effective mailers.


Tell us about your path to what you’re doing now.

After an international career in UK, Saudi Arabian and German design groups and agencies as a hybrid copywriter-designer I rescued some pre-war can making machinery from the scrapyard and advertised that I could write, design and send out mailings in cans. What started off as a bit of a joke was taken seriously by the Royal Mail, Avery Dennison, Centaur and many others who actually volunteered to promote my can-based mailings.
